Meet Anna

Hi, I'm Anna, the owner and Occupational Therapist behind Be and Do Therapy & Support.

I'm passionate about helping people access the supports they need to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. I believe every person is unique, and I take the time to understand what matters most to them, their individual strengths, goals and challenges. One of the things I value most about my work is helping people feel genuinely heard and understood, and supporting them to navigate services and funding systems that can often feel overwhelming.

Having grown up locally and returned to the area more than 12 years ago, I have a strong connection to the community and a deep understanding of the realities of living in rural and regional areas. Through Be and Do Therapy & Support, my goal is to provide a personalised, supportive experience where people feel respected, valued and empowered throughout the assessment process.

Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and have more than 10 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist across mental health, medical and disability settings.

Over the past five years, I have worked extensively with children and adults within the NDIS, completing assessments and reports that help people better understand their functional needs and access appropriate supports. My experience across a range of sectors allows me to take a holistic view of each person's circumstances and develop recommendations that are practical, evidence-based and tailored to their individual needs.

My Approach

I believe the best outcomes happen when people feel listened to and involved in the process. Every assessment begins with understanding the person behind the report.

I take the time to learn about your goals, daily life, strengths and support needs so that recommendations reflect what is important to you. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on providing individualised assessments and recommendations that are meaningful, realistic and aligned with your circumstances. I am also a strong advocate for ensuring people receive the support they need to participate in everyday life and achieve the goals that matter most to them.

Why I Started Be and Do Therapy & Support

Throughout my career, I have seen the challenges many people face when trying to access specialist services close to home. Long wait times, limited local options and the need to travel significant distances can create additional barriers for people who are already navigating complex support needs.

I started Be and Do Therapy & Support to provide a service that meets people where they are. Rather than expecting clients to travel, I travel throughout the region to provide face-to-face assessments in homes, schools, workplaces and community settings. From Wagga Wagga to Griffith, Tumut and surrounding communities, my goal is to make accessing professional occupational therapy services easier, more personal and more accessible.
